Labyrinth Escape Games started because Andrew Lind couldn't stop thinking about puzzles.
Andrew is a US Army veteran who served as an Intelligence Operations Manager leading multinational teams in South Korea. After the military, he completed the competitive Amazon Corporate Fellowship. He holds a BS in Business Administration/Communications from Corban University. And somewhere between leading intelligence operations and building corporate strategy, he fell in love with escape rooms.
Not the kind with combination locks and file cabinets. The kind that made you forget where you were. The kind where the story grabbed you and the puzzles made your brain light up. The kind that didn't exist in Idaho.
So he built one.
That first room in Boise grew into two. Then five. Then a second location in Nampa with five more. Today, Labyrinth Escape Games runs 10 themed rooms across two Idaho locations, employs a team of Travel Agents (our in-universe name for game guides) and designers, and has been experienced by tens of thousands of players. Revenue grew from zero to over $1 million annually. The reviews grew from zero to 5.0 on Google at both locations - 2,700+ at Boise, 1,850+ at Nampa, 5,800+ total across Google, TripAdvisor, and Yelp.
What would make someone forget they're in a room?
But the obsession hasn't changed. Every room still starts with the same question Andrew asked on day one.
